Pizza was originally invented in Naples, Italy. It is an oven-baked, flat, round bread typically topped with a tomato sauce, cheese, and various toppings. There are many varieties of pizza around the world. Here is a recipe using store bought naans as the base.

Toppings
You may use any toppings you wish. Just make sure not to add too much. You don't want your naan to become have with toppings. Here is what we like to use.
- large green bell pepper, sliced - 2/3
- onions, sliced - 1 small
- mozarella cheese, shredded (as much or as little as you wish)
- mushrooms, sliced - 2-3
- olive oil - 1 tbsp.
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. If you have a baking stone, leave it in the oven and let it preheat, as well. If you don't, you can use a normal baking tray and preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- You can use your naan right out of the freezer; you don't need to leave it out beforehand. Spread the sauce onto each naan, lightly. Sprinkle very little cheese onto the naans.
- Add the toppings, then add as much cheese as you wish (not so much that the naan caves in the middle). Lightly sprinkle the olive oil on top of each naan.
- Place on baking stone or tray. Let bake for about 10-12 minutes.Or until you see the cheese melt and turn a light brown colour. The naan should be crisp at the bottom.
This recipe is for four naans.
You may serve this with coleslaw, potato salad, or macaroni salad.
